Study in Germany
Why study in the Germany?
With so many beautiful universities and bustling cities full of art galleries and healthy nightlife, it’s no wonder thousands of young people decide to pursue their aspirations to study in Germany. Europe is one of the few countries in the world where education is free for young people, while international students can use some of the cheapest education on the continent. So, if you’re thinking of studying abroad, here are seven reasons to study in Germany.

World-class universities:
Germany has one of the best universities in the world. In fact, 23 tertiary institutions in Germany have made it to the top 2019 of the 200 University Universities, making the European republic the third most prominent list in the USA and UK. The rankings look at key performance indicators, including teaching, research, information transfer, and international views at 1,400 schools in 92 different countries. According to faculty, the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich is Germany’s top university. The university is ranked as the best university in the world, with Berlin playing in four of the top 200 schools.

Variety:
The range of courses offered at German universities is huge and gives you the opportunity to choose any learning area you want to focus on. A large range of foreign programs and degree programs will allow you to specialize your skills. Discover the diversity and beauty Germany has to offer! If you take time out of your research, there are 1001 ways to find out more about your host country. For example, you can go to a museum, cinema or theater, you can sit in a beer garden, take a walk on the beach, swim in the lake, climb a mountain or visit an old palace.

You can travel Europe on a student visa:
Once you get your student visa, you can take it anywhere you want within the EU, and with your luck, you can be in a different country within hours. If you are an EU citizen, you will have the same rights as the Germans, and you do not need a visa. As a non-EU citizen, you must apply for a visa, in some cases to obtain a residence permit. (See this source for more information.) This will also allow you to travel free of visas within the Schengen Area. If you are in doubt about the whole process of obtaining a visa or permit, all you have to do is contact your school or program advisor, and they will help you out.

Wide variety of programs:
So maybe you don’t want to do an entire degree in Germany and go to university full time. Maybe you want to start off with a summer program, such as a language and culture program or environmental studies, or maybe an urban study program. Organizations like AIFS, API or IES offer many programs to help you grow your education as you gain a new culture. Your courses are usually conducted in English and you may have to take German language courses. which you should be very excited about, because your German is about to become a Sehr gut!
